Soldiers of the Damned

Soldiers of the Damned is a 2015 British war horror film. Since war is horror, this picture of the hunt for Nazi gold where the result is many people die horrible deaths seems on-target. You can watch it with your Amazon Prime subscription or on Tubi or on YouTube.

via YouTube, but it's age-restricted so you'll need to click through and watch it at the YouTube website:

Reviews are scarce, but how can you go wrong with end of WW2 German Nazis vs the Russian Red Army blowing everything up in the search for gold. Mindless entertainment, which sometimes (often?) suits my mood.

I have a hummingbird feeder, but I also enjoy having flowers the hummingbirds will come to like this native honeysuckle.

  2. I've put my feeder away at the front. There are so many flowers they visit!

  3. Nice honeysuckle plant. My hummingbirds were non-existent about a month ago and now my feeder is going down quite quickly. I guess they're filling up for the trip south. Happy Friday!

    1. Yes, they're preparing for migration. I'll miss them when they're gone.

  4. That sounds like a perfectly mindless movie. You need those once in a while. I miss the honeysuckle vine. We had to take it down as it was overgrown and causing the bottom of the plant to be all moldy and mildew as it didn't get much sun. the Hummers really loved the honeysuckle.

    1. I didn't realize your honeysuckle was no more :( It took a while to get mine established, but it's doing well right now. I'll keep an eye on the base. Thanks for the heads up.

  5. I saw part of that film, but didn't like it. Love the honeysuckle. Pity that we don't have humming birds over here. Valerie

Mindless entertainment is just what I need, too, sometimes. ;)

    1. I like the non-native, invasive yellow honeysuckle, too, but it takes over once introduced and I just don't have the room.

  8. I'll pass on the film, but enjoyed seeing your honeysuckle. I had some in my back yard, but the thoughtless neighbor cut it back so often with his weed eater, it is no more!!

    1. I do despise neighbors who intrude into other people's yards. I had a neighbor like that once, and she just would not stay out of our yard :( She'd _reach_ over fences.
