Sensory Garden
I remember when they first opened The Sensory Garden at the Memphis Botanic Gardens. It was intended to provide a pleasant garden experience for those with sensory impairments.

and garden beds at a height where those in wheelchairs can easily touch the plants:
There are a couple of sculptures. Here's one of them:
It's a delightful garden within a garden.

ReplyDeletethe botanic gardens is well worth a visit. and right across the street is the dixon gallery and gardens, which is also a treat :) not that i'm prejudiced or anything ;)
