Ebenezer Sanford

Ebenezer Sanford is a season 5 episode of the Sanford and Son television series from the 1970s. I didn't watch this show when it was on and had never seen this Christmas episode.

    1. I had seen a few episodes but wasn't a faithful viewer. I'd have been in college most of that time and didn't watch much tv then. This episode was new to me.

  2. I remember this show but don't remember this episode. Actually, I can't say I remember any particular episodes, but more the characters themselves. Its a real flashback! Hugs-Erika

    1. Yes, that's me, remembering the characters from pop-culture references more than remembering the show itself.

  3. I couldn't believe you found another Christmas carol story. This was humorous, even though I had never seen this show before. The Christmas past and future were very different than any I've seen before.

    1. I'm beginning to think it's more unusual for shows _not_ to have a Christmas Carol holiday episode lol!

  4. I used to watch Sanford and Son and I kind of remembered this episode. Had to watch it again. Shows were simpler--but not politically correct back then. ;)

    1. I remembering being surprised that Amos and Andy was unacceptable but this show was lol. I still don't understand that.

  5. I've never seen this show before, not sure it was televised in the UK but I have seen Steptoe and Son the TV series that it was based upon - so funny 😁. I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas! Enjoy your week and sending you happy wishes for the New Year! J 😊 x

    1. I'd never heard of Steptoe and Son until I started looking at information when I found this episode. I keep meaning to see if any of them are available on Youtube.

I did have a wonderful Christmas and am looking forward to the new year. I hope your Christmas was filled with joy and that your new year brings you nothing but good :)
