Christmas Music

There is Christmas music galore out there. We used to have Christmas LPs, then we moved to tapes, and now we have CDs. We each have our own Christmas playlists, and I'd like to share mine with you. It's at Spotify, which I find hard to use on my phone but an easy delight on my computer. My playlist is almost 23 hours long, because even though I take some songs out every year I add even more. I've included a wide variety of types of music, but none of it -well, almost none of it- is instrumental. I hope you enjoy my eclectic Christmas music selection:

You can sign up for Spotify free here.

I'm joining those of the regular T Stands for Tuesday bloggers who can make it today, and if you'd like to join in I'd like to welcome you. Please share a drink in your post if you'd like to link up. Here's mine:

Can I interest you in a sausage ball with that? This is a recipe I've used from back in the olden days when sausage balls were invented:

Now that you have a drink in hand and have tried and perhaps decided against Spotify, prop your feet up -see my festive footies?

and consider some of the numerous nice playlists on Youtube. Here's one with pretty scenes:

Here's one with a lovely roaring fireplace and Christmas tree scene:

Here's one that shows a fire burning and crackling in the fireplace while the music plays:

Merry Christmas!

  1. I listened for about 10 minutes, but want to hear just certain songs. Guess I should make my own playlist. Thanks for the link.

One of the local channels is playing the Christmas music with fireplace this morning. Nice that they gave their employees the day off.

I LOVE that Christmas tree. It is SO clever. I can even remember when Bisquick was popular. Now you don't hear about it at all. Those sausage balls must be great. I'll join you for a cup and a cookie, too.

Bleubeard LOVES your slippers. He thinks they are SO much cuter than the balls on his stocking.

Merry Christmas, dear friend. I hope it is a relaxing, enjoyable, safe, and memory filled day for you and your family. Thanks for sharing your playlist, videos, and of course your adorable tree and coffee with us for T this Tuesday.

  3. I don't listen to music very often except for classical music. I love the look of those sausage balls, yummy. And those snazzy foot warmers are right up my street. Happy T day, Valerie

  6. I love Christmas music and the holidays is not the same without those old favourites, you have some great choices on your play list 😁. My hubby is learning bass guitar and surprised me by playing some Christmas classics that I was singing along too today - such fun! Your festive footwear is awesome, I bet they keep your tootsies cosy and warm, the pom poms are adorable 😉. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and T Tuesday! Hugs J 😊 x

  10. I love your eclectic Christmas playlist, D! Of course I haven't listened to it all. I've heard of Spotify but hadn't been tempted to try it out. So Thank you. I have been listening to some of the YouTube CHristmas videos. I love everything about Christmas - my favorite time of year.

I'd never heard of sausage balls. They look very tasty.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas season and Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

I still use Bisquick, but only on occasion......I am writing down your recipe....thank you.....sounds like something my family will enjoy.
    I LOVE your festive footies!!

  13. We have been playing our playlist in the car since Dec 1st and have just decided it's time for a change! I love most of your list (although Burle Ives is a tricky one for me!!) in fact some are on ours! The Youtube selection might be worth a look before the season is finally over though!! Ope you had a wonderful Christmas! Belated Happy T day! Chrisx

    1. You sound like us. One of the reasons my playlist is so long is that we listen to Christmas music staring from the day after Thanksgiving 'til Epiphany lol I'm glad you liked most of mine :) Burl Ives is from back in my childhood, so I have fond memories associated with him. We are having a wonderful season, yes :) and we love hearing people who don't pack up everything and move on after Christmas Day is done. :0
