A Jetson Christmas Carol

A Jetson Christmas Carol is a 1985 Christmas special. The Jetsons is a 1960s series I remember fondly from my childhood, but this special is from the second incarnation of the show which I'd never seen.

    I don’t remember this even coming out. Course that year I was newlywed and probably spent more time under the mistletoe 😄

      That was the year my 1st baby turned one. We didn't watch much tv lol I do remember watching the show back in the 60s, and I'm still wondering where my flying car is ;)

    I was too young for this. We didn't have a tv until the day I graduated from high school. My grandfather thought it would be a bad influence on me. He could be right (grin).

    It's a cute film, though. Like you, I'm still waiting for those flying cars.

      This show originally aired in prime time in 1962-63. I don't remember it from then and don't guess our family watched it, but I do remember it showing in syndication on Saturday mornings. It was shown for decades starting in 1963 and was very popular.

      Where are our flying cars?!

    Meet George Jetson...
    What fun. I couldn't figure out who was going to be Scrooge out of the Jetson household. But Mr. Spacely is the perfect choice.

    Dagan was ten years old. I don't really remember if we saw this special or not, but I remember watching the show when I was that age. :)

      Yes, that's where I am, remembering it on Saturday mornings when I was a child but not realizing there were these new episodes in the 1980s. My first was born in the mid-1980s, but I don't remember him watching this series at all.
