  1. ...this is a FABULOUS series that our PBS station once aired. I miss it.

  5. Ah 42. I haven't seen this series. Is it any good? I see you might be chilly tonight? I hope, if you are you, don't lose any more plants.

    1. This is a fun series. Unusual. Not dark.

We're having freeze warnings! It feels strange to be wearing the winter clothes. I think I've lost all I'm going to of my plants. I've even already planted some seeds outside...

    1. It's a fun show, and we enjoy the characters and the actors who play them. There's a good balance between exploring the characters' personal lives and telling the crime stories.

  7. My PBS station is showing series 4 right now. Still have Kris Marshall before he met Sally and moved back to London. I want to see the new series Beyond Paradise, but it may just be in England or maybe on BritBox for now.

    1. We're watching Beyond Paradise now on Britbox. You can get Britbox free with a 7 day trial, and then it's $7.99/month or $79.99/year. We started with the free trial period.

  8. Right now, my PBS station is airing Season 5, where Kris Marshall is still in Paradise and before he meets Sally and moves back to England to be with her. I want to see the new series Beyond Paradise, but I think it is only being shown in England and maybe on BritBox. I LOVE this series and have seen every episode so far. Quirky and a bit formulaic, but fun none-the-less.

    1. I agree about the quirky -we get a kick out of it- and so far we're not minding how formulaic it is. That is becoming a problem with some shows, though, isn't it, where it feels like the writers have a template and just fill in the blank...

  9. Good spotting of 42. We must give Death In Paradise a watch, it's been on for quite a while. I like who done it mysteries on the lighter side!

    1. Definitely on the lighter side, which makes a nice change from all those dark ones.
