Adagio (2000)
Adagio is an award-winning 2000 Russian animated short film. You could say it's the story of Christianity. Or the history of religion.

This looks interesting. I have bookmarked it fo later. Enjoy your weekend, Valerie
ReplyDeleteIt's under 10 minutes, so it doesn't take long to watch. I like the really short ones ;)
DeleteI think Verizon is throttling back my speed. My computer is so slow and the video won't load. Will try again later.
ReplyDeleteSometimes videos are slow, and I can't figure out why. That 10-minute a day Yoga site I found has stutter-y video.
DeleteMy problem seems to have been caused by malware. Hopefully, that problem has been taken care of. Lovely lyrical music. Yup, myopic groups. Exclusive not inclusive.
DeleteIt's painful to see churches thinking they're welcoming and inclusive while actually being closed and insulated.
DeletePersonally, I'm not sure I got it, or understood it, but the music was lovely and the folded paper cranes delightful.
ReplyDeleteI loved how they used the music in this.
DeleteInteresting topic for a Russian film. But I guess with no more Soviet Union everything has changed there. have you seen Chernobyl on HBO? I picked up HBO for a month just to watch the series as everyone was talking about it. It was very very good. Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Chernobyl but have heard a bit about it. I remember when the disaster happened. Every so often afterwards we'd hear news of some follow-up at the site, but I hadn't heard any mention of it in a while before this series came out.
DeleteNot sure I got all of it. either, but it was interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting just to see how it's choreographed with that music.
