Uzumaki is a 2000 Japanese horror movie about a small town where the residents gradually become obsessed with spiral shapes. This made fine casual viewing but isn't breaking new ground or likely to become a re-watchable classic. But then few films reach that level. I watched it on Amazon Prime.

I am not really into Japanese films, and this one doesn't tempt me either! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThose spirals!
Delete...if it's not a re-watchable classic, I'll pass.
ReplyDeleteI watch a lot of not re-watchable non classics lol
DeleteRound and round they went. This spiraled out of control. That means I'll pass, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read your representative is being reinstated until he can be reelected.
Our Republicans didn't even show up for the commission meeting lol Cowards. I just watched him take his oath again :)
DeleteI'm happy for him and Jones, too!
DeleteAnd now we're hearing about Cameron Sexton, the Speaker of our state House. It looks like he maintains a 2-bedroom condo in a Crossville (the place he represents) retirement community (he has a school-aged child who goes to school in Nashville, and retirement communities don't tend to allow children to live there) where he hadn't paid property taxes in 2 years until this story broke. He actually _lives_ in Nashville with his wife and child, but he claims per diem expenses as if he were commuting from Crossville. It's a hot mess.

The story about his alleged mistress, a woman who is married to his former deputy communications director is the latest episode. And she's a lobbyist roflol! I swear there's new scandal every day...
I love the expression of the woman in the video photo you included. That is one much used but classic photo.
ReplyDeleteThe spirals will do that to you ,,,
