A Hard Day's Night is a 1964 musical comedy Beatles movie. What a treat. I've seen this several times, and it never gets old. I watched it on HBO Max this time, but I own the DVD.

Rotten Tomatoes has a critics consensus score of 98%.
I think a cup of tea is just the thing for something to watch during this movie:

...I thought that it was just a song, I never was much of a Beatle fan.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, one of my faves! Happy T Day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLove the Beatles and the movie is fun ☺️. Your tea looks so elegant and refreshing - enjoy! It looks like I've missed loads of good movies, books and music on your blog posts, Funny Girl is such a classic movie and Scorpion King is fun to watch too. Thanks so much for all your lovely comments on my blog posts and wishing you a wonderful April! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI’ve always enjoyed that movie’s humor, despite its self-congratulatory mood.

I agree. It's a great film and perfect with a cup of tea. Happy T day. it's going to rain today and that makes me happy because it will probably wash away a lot of this left over snow-smile. hugs-Erika

I really like this movie. The tea looks wonderful and I really like your cup. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteI had NO idea it was a film, but I remember a documentary that showed them on a train. What a lovely mug and what fun I could have with that tin once the tea is gone. Thanks for sharing your film and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a silly fun slice of the times back then. I was the perfect age in 1964--thirteen with a crush on John!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Beatles a subject that the majority of people can agree upon, great music.

ReplyDeleteGreat fun. I remember seeing this film back in the day (I have always been a Beatles fan). Then when you see it again later as an adult, the jokes make more sense. I'm going to see if they stream it here somewhere.
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I'm humming the song now!
