Frankie Ford

I've been out of town for a week.
We had a great time in Chattanooga, TN,
and I look forward to catching up.

Today is the anniversary of the death of Frankie Ford in 2015 at the age of 76.

Sea Cruise (1959) was his most well-known work:

    1. When we took the kids when they were little we stayed in the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. It made quite an impression :)

    I sure remember this song many times--LOL! I was only 8 when it came out? They must have played it on the radio for years. I didn't get a radio of my own until I was about 10. I did watch Bandstand though. :)

    1. I loved American Bandstand, and we still sometimes hear a song and say, "It's got a good beat, and it's easy to dance to" lol
