Farewell, My Lovely

Farewell, My Lovely is a 1975 film noir, an adaptation of Raymond Chandler's book by the same name. Robert Mitchum plays private detective Phillip Marlowe. Harry Dean Stanton, Jack O'Halloran, and Sylvester Stallone are also in this movie. Robert Mitchum is a national treasure and does not disappoint. The soundtrack is perfect.

  1. This sounds familiar but then again doesn't. Maybe I remember hearing about it or maybe the I read the book. I will check it out after I get my yard work done today. My garden is screaming for a weeding. Happy saturday. hugs-Erika

    1. The book was adapted several times, but this, I think, is the only one to share the novel's name. I love Mitchum :)

    1. I became familiar with Raymond Chandler when I started reading detective/mystery stories. This movie I didn't discover 'til fairly recently.
