When I saw Phantasm I thought it was one of the scariest movies I'd ever seen.I saw it at the drive-in with my girl friend now wife in 79. She fell asleep and I locked the doors, it really freaked me out.
ReplyDeletemy elder son has been recommending phantasm to me for years, and i have the dvd on the shelf waiting. i just never seem to get to that one. i even paid full price for the new one the local store had on the shelf, and yet... i'm leery of it for some reason, so it never makes it to the top of the stack.
Deletei'm a coward by nature and getting me this far with horror was a labor of love for that son while he was still at home. he still speaks well of phantasm.
