The Super Mario Bros Movie

The Super Mario Bros Movie (Netflix) is a 2023 animated adventure comedy film based on Nintendo's Mario video game franchise. Chris Pratt voices Mario, the main character. I'm familiar with these games and the characters, and I'm sure that aided my appreciation. Most reviewers liked it.

    I "know" Super Mario, but have never played these games and neither has my daughter.
    So I guess I have no connection to the movie.

      My kids loved some of the Mario games, starting with that Nintendo 64 game. Even I loved that one.

    I might be learning about this game again with the grandboys if they play it and/or see the movie, but it will not bother me if I don't--lol! Dagan played the original Mario Bros 40 years ago, but I don't remember a lot about it other than the relentless music--lol! Cute little snowman! :)

      I didn't know about Mario until Nintendo 64, but I _loved_ the Mario64 game and learned the characters that way. I can still here "It's me Mario" and that music in my head lol
