I made this in Brownie Scouts:
It's in a hallway, and I had trouble getting the photo, but I think it's holding up remarkably well given its age.

...we have some felt decorations that have last their color over the years.
ReplyDeleteOur felt has held up pretty well.
DeleteThat's cool. It is looking great. Boy, I barely remember being a brownie.
ReplyDeleteI did Girl Scouts, too, but didn't go further.
DeleteWhat a lovely piece. I still have the table cloths I embroidered when I was a child, but I don't often use them. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI embroidered a few pillow cases when I was a child. I gave them to my daughter. I rarely used them. I wonder if they've held up...
DeleteA very young Angela Lansbury in this one, too.
ReplyDeleteI was never in the girl scouts or the brownies. Would have interfered with my mother's time driving us back and forth for anything--lol!
Another popular door hanging for the holidays!
Mother was our Brownie leader. I remember the crafts and the Brownie story and the "flying up" and the uniform. I think I still have my pins.
DeleteI love your Noel banner and I love that you still have it! I was a scout too. At least for a bit! (All of Brownies but only a year in Scouts.) That movie looks fun!
ReplyDeleteBasil Rathbone is always worth checking out.
