Mission: Impossible (Netflix) 1996 action spy film directed by Brian De Palma and starring Tom Cruise. A continuation of the 1966 television series of the same name and its 1988 sequel series, it is the first installment in the Mission: Impossible film series. If you never watched the original series, this is fine enough. If you did... well, I don't recommend it for reasons that would provide too many spoilers.

...Mission: Impossible was a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe TV series, yes, me too. Especially once Nimoy joined the cast :)
DeleteI like the Snowman far more than MI! (Pity, because I loved the TV series.) The movie has far too much action for me. I'd rather a good spy movie like Tinker Tailor.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mind the action, but that they betrayed the very character of the original, that's what I objected to :(
DeleteI have that snowman- and those Mission Impossible films are great for entertainment. We've been rewatching the very old Police Force films with Lesley Neilson. There's a great scene in the second with a lobster and Barbara Bush. Pretty silly, but good for some evening laughs. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the Police Force films.
DeleteYour snowman is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteMr Man got the latest M/I installment for Christmas & watched today while I was out - he likes the level of sound far too high for my enjoyment.
ReplyDeleteIssues like these can be a problem. We have differences here, too.
DeleteI love the snowman. I have never been a fan of the Mission Impossible movies. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteI'd like it better if the hadn't betrayed the old series,
DeleteI liked the show on TV. The movies are pure action and much less plot than the TV shows had, as I recall.
ReplyDeleteI barely remember the snowman movie, but I recognized him--lol! :)
That song from The Snowman is in my Spotify Christmas playlist :)
DeleteThese films have bought in a lot of money!
ReplyDeleteAww love your snowman.
All the best Jan
