The Ghost Writer

The Ghost Writer (Tubi) is a 2010 neo-noir political thriller film directed by Roman Polanski. The film is an adaptation of a 2007 Robert Harris novel, The Ghost and stars Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall, Olivia Williams, Tom Wilkinson, Timothy Hutton, Eli Wallach, and Jim Belushi. Reviews are positive. Political thrillers are never my first choice, and I'm not sure how I came across this one. I watched it for the cast.

    That's quite a cast. I'm on the fence on political thrillers. I like the political part but sometimes the thriller is too much for me!

    I knew I had seen this many years ago but couldn't remember it well. Ended up watching it again...once again because of the actors--lol! Was just as interesting the second time. Even though I remembered halfway through it who the villain really was in that family--ROFL!
    The silver top hat makes this snowman quite ready for the Ritz! :)
