We're moving from record-breaking lows and a 5-inch snow that stayed for a week into rain and higher than normal temperatures for the rest of the week. If you like four seasons and variety in your weather we are the place to be!

...on the news last night I saw the broken water mains in Memphis.
ReplyDeleteYour weather is certainly all over the place. I know my friend in Raleigh, NC called the other day and although she didn't have snow like you did, her temperatures are doing the same thing. And this is such a lovely painting. It's perfect for T day too. and it feels nice and warm. Smile. Have a great T day Nita.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful painting you have shared this week, the colours are gorgeous and fill my with warmth on this cold stormy day 😊. Sounds like your weather is so variable and I love how you compare it to the Four Seasons, the music by Vivaldi springs to mind so uplifting ❤️. Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBreakfast! The most important meal of the day. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteLovely painting. Yes, the weather is out of control. Stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a young boy eating breakfast to me. But back then boys probably wouldn't have hair that long--lol!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are whipping through all the seasons! Up here we are still waiting to get above freezing. Supposed to be tomorrow. :)
Variety is the spice of life! Happy T Day, Valerie

ReplyDeleteBonnard painted so many scenes of light meals or tea parties, he could be the favorite painter for the T for Tuesday group!

Thank you for introducing me to another artist with whom I was not familiar. I love this painting.
ReplyDeleteWe had record breaking low temps and wind chills here for four days. There is still snow on the ground and I am freezing. Thanks for sharing your painting with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nita.
I've always liked Bonnard's work and this piece is a gem.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a beautiful painting. I saw some of Bonnard's painting in the Tate in London, such joyous colors. I have read about the crazy weather in your area and others as well - I'm quite glad that so far we've had a normal winter here. Fingers crossed it stays like this.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful painting.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated T Day.
All the best Jan
