Ten Little Indians (Tubi, Amazon Prime) is a 1989 mystery film directed by Alan Birkinshaw. This is the 4th English-language screen adaptation of Agatha Christie's 1939 novel And Then There Were None. It stars Donald Pleasence (an actor you should always be on the lookout for), Brenda Vaccaro, Herbert Lom, and Warren Berlinger. I'm a sucker for Agatha Christie adaptations. I liked this one.

Even after two nights of below freezing temperatures we still have some blooms on our protected patio.
This is such a good plot and I've seen other versions but not this one. It's been awhile -- I'll be on the lookout for this. Alas, I don't have prime. (I'm a sucker for Aggie, too.)
I remember seeing this one. I watch any Agatha Christie movies I see! :) My flowers hung in there for a couple of freezing nights but then they all bit the dust.
I remember seeing a version of this, but never this one. I think Turner Classics showed one version one year. However, I read the book and the ending is not like the film.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.

ReplyDeleteWe watch a lot on Prime, and then there's the free shipping...
Delete...honeysuckle is tough.
ReplyDeleteThis is a native and has held up well.
DeleteI loved this film! Good to see your flowers still blooming!
ReplyDeleteThat native honeysuckle did well this year.
DeleteGreat cast. I think I saw this movie when it first came out. Time for a re-watch!
ReplyDeleteAgatha Christie has inspired a varied bunch of adaptations.
DeleteYou are lucky to have the blooms, still!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing really...
DeleteI should check this out. I am a big Christie fan, and I'm not really familiar with many of the films based on her books.
ReplyDeleteI've seen more adaptations than I've read books I think.

We're expecting highs in the 80s again this week!

ReplyDeleteWe don't get Turner Classics since we don't have cable.
DeleteIt's a wonerful movie 😊. So lovely to see your honeysuckle still blooming, is this usual or is it mild there for this time of year? Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWe often have the "summer" flowers blooming well into November, though this is our hottest year on record so far.
