Casino is a 1995 epic crime film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci, Don Rickles, Kevin Pollak, and James Woods. I can't remember where I saw this, but it seems to be no longer available streaming except as a rental. It's not my usual type of movie, but I'm glad I've seen it. Variety is the spice of life, after all. It was recommended by a couple of my Facebook friends. It is well-reviewed.

This is a long one but pretty good. Probably not much my type of movie either but fine. Parts of it were filmed in Piero's, a restaurant Rick and I always tried to get to when we were in Las Vegas for his trade show!

DeleteIt's been a very long time since I saw this film, probably 20 years - I honestly can't remember much of the content... Maybe it'll be on TV again - I'm not interested enough in it that movie I would pay for it...

DeleteI remember the first time I went to Las Vegas. I was 19 and not the least bit impressed with gambling. However, I loved the casinos and their cheap meals and shows. I also remember the next time I went, the mob was gone and so were the old casinos. I vaguely remember this film.
