  3. I love this song and Wilson Pickett in general. I didn't know he died today. If I owned a Mustang I would change my name to Sally for a few hours and take it for a drive in his honor.

  8. Brought me back to being 14 and listening on my sweet transistor radio out by Moore Lake watching the mallard ducks with the dragonflies and red-winged blackbirds hanging in the cattails. :)

    1. I loved my little transistor radio, under my pillow as I went to sleep. But I had to remember to turn it off before I drifted away completely. Those batteries didn't last long enough.

  9. Even though all my friends were listening to disco, this and classic rock are the music genres I most identified with as a child. Wilson Pickett was awesome. I had to listen to it twice before I started this comment.

    1. Sweet! Disco didn't come until I was in college. The 60s music brings back my childhood when I discovered radio in elementary school.
