Train Kept a Rollin'

Train Kept a Rollin':

by Tav Falco's Panther Burns, a band formed in Memphis in 1979 and still active. This video is of their 1979 performance and interview on a local TV show. Marge Thrasher is a judgmental bitch in this interview in my opinion.

This is from 12/2019:

  2. They sound great - love it 😁. The interviewer doesn't do herself any favours, comes across as obnoxious. Thanks for sharing their music and sending you happy wishes! Hugs Jo x

    1. No, I was disappointed in how she treated him. It sounded personal somehow.

  6. It's better when he talk-sings than when he actually tries to sing because he slides off key all the time. Only times like this I remember we were tested in grade school and I am supposed to have perfect pitch--LOL! Like chalk on a blackboard. But apparently he might want to be doing that on purpose if he is anti-music? I do agree with some of the current song content, though--hehe! And the band does sound a bit more cohesive now than they did then. The lady host--was she supposed to be like an early shock jock style of interviewer? She was quite rude. They have to have known what the band sounded like when they asked them to come on the show--geez! What did she expect from "anti-music"? LOL!

    1. Yeah, I'm not thinking he's "anti-music" in the sense that the interviewer makes it sound. I get the impression they had a pre-interview moment that set her off. She seemed not just closed but closed with added snark.
