Laura

Laura is a 1944 film directed by Otto Preminger and starring Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb, Vincent Price, and Judith Anderson. I have this on DVD. It's a treasure, and that's no exaggeration. In fact, I think I'll take an hour and a half and watch it again...

  4. I really wish I had the 90 minutes to spend watching this. It sounds wonderful. You always come up with a great and unusual take on T Tuesday. Today was no different. This looks like a great film and so sweet to share it for T this Tuesday.

    1. Vincent Price was a genius who could do drama, comedy, and horror with equal skill. He's brilliant in this as a pretty-boy Southerner.

  10. I watched it years ago, it was the first time I had seen Gene Tierney definitely an under appreciated actress.

  11. Nice cast. And I bet it is good, but as usual I don't think I've seen it. (This must be so boring to read from me all the time- smile). Hope it was a super T day. Hugs-Erika

    2. What a poor memory I have--lol! I suspected the right guy but it didn't click in for sure until the clock--LOL! :) :)

    3. Yes, that clock. And isn't he perfect as the bad guy you're not really sure about since there are so many other possible villains.

    4. Yes, I trhink I only suspected him all along because of a vague memory of the movie--LOL! ;)

  13. Such a great movie. They cared a lot more about details back then and dressed so lovely. That poor clock - it really took a beating during the movie! Vincent can recite anything and it sounds so much cooler than if anyone else said it. Thanks for sharing! Happy T-day a bit late!
