  4. Oh that is great! I will watch that later with my husband as I just spotted it is three quarters of an hour long. Yes, we will settle down with a hot drink and enjoy that. We both like Johnny Cash. He was at his best in those days.Thanks.

  9. I was really late to the party with Johnny Cash -- really got to know about him from the movie with Reese Whitherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix. I should check out the video.

  18. I used to love these Christmas specials - what a treat to see those guests again too! Thanks so much for finding this! Am I right in thinking that eventually they were called the Carter family specials?

    1. I don't think so. The Johnny Cash tv series lasted from 1969-1971. In 1976 a show called "Johnny Cash and Friends" was a summer replacement series. After that there was an annual Johnny Cash Christmas show.
