Watching Christmas movies, short films, and TV episodes is one of the highlights of the season for me. I keep a list here, which I update as I write blog posts on them. Please check them out, let me know if any of the videos have disappeared, and I'd love suggestions for new viewing possibilities. Except for the Hallmark-type rom-coms. I've seen a few of those and don't care to watch any more.

...is that a one cup coffee maker?
ReplyDeleteYes. It's a plastic pour-over for one cup. I bought one for everybody I knew one Christmas back when I knew people who were still drinking instant coffee. This is a vast improvement over that for a single cup :)
DeleteWe started watching Christmas movies. We were going to watch the Die Hard movies in reverse order, but for some reason Die hard 3 wouldn’t play/was gone. So we watched Die Hard 2. I must have been in a cave as I never saw this one even though I’ve seen 1 and 3 multiple times. As usual a fun movie with John. Yippee ki yay, mother...😺 Happy T Day

DeleteOMgosh. You have given me a whole new perspective on Christmas stories. I know a few from the 1980s, my favorite of which is Die Hard. It's my most favorite Christmas story ever. From the 90s, I liked LA Confidential, saw Home Alone, The Last Boy Scout, the Poirot episodes, and Cadfael. In the 2000s, I saw the Midsomer Murders episode, and Nero Wolf series. I saw some of Elf, but didn't care for it. In 2010s, I saw the Leverage episode and Red. I have not yet seen the 2013 Midsomer Murders episode. What wonderful shows you have given us to consider when it comes to Christmas.

DeleteSuch a pretty Christmas teacup and saucer! I love watching Christmas movies and reading Christmas stories and this always start these on 1st December for me. The Christmas recs have started going up today too - yay 😁. I don't mind some of the Hallmark movies but I have my old favourites that I watch every year! Happy December and T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x

Well, I am not into christmas at all. So christmas movies are not high on my list except Krampus. One of my faves. A customer of mine asked it I would make a Krampus cabochon for her. My most favorites are the 30's and 40's movies but there are a handful of newer ones I love too. And yes, I do love the Hallmark movies although the ones from a few years back are much better than the new ones;) Happy T day!

DeleteThis is such a cool post. I don't celebrate Christmas, but have friends who do and who doesn't enjoy ANY kind of holiday spirit? The Doctor Who Christmas episodes are some of my favourites.. Your list has made me want to revisit the West Wing episode.

ReplyDeleteWe have a bigger pour-over maker for when we're both having coffee. Or I use the French press. He likes the Mister Coffee drip maker lol
DeleteIt's not Christmas for me without "White Christmas" and "Love Actually." And then the others -- "The Bishop's Wife," "Miracle on 34th Street," any version of "A Christmas Carol."

DeleteI remember a made for tv movie The Gathering (1977) with Ed Asner a tear jerker but highly acclaimed at the time.
