A Carol Christmas is a 2003 Hallmark channel movie adaptation of Dickens' Christmas Carol. It stars Tori Spelling, Dinah Manoff, William Shatner and Gary Coleman.
So does Scrooge meet the woman of his dreams? Interesting that the Hallmark channel would do a Christmas Carol as the original story is rather a dark. And did you like this?
I don't tend to care for the modern re-tellings of this story and wish folks would get a new idea or two ;) I thought this was too silly and jokey, and with so many other Christmas Carol adaptations around this one would be close to the bottom of my list. It's not _bad_ so much as it's not necessary ;)
Love this story but I've not seen this version. I have just watched The Muppets version as we always do each year, such fun ...lol 😉. Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...I will watch it later!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it :)

ReplyDeleteThe Muppet version is one of the _best_!
DeleteNow how did I miss this one haha great cast too
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a fun cast and a distinctly modern adaptation.
Delete'spect I'll pass. We watched Muppet Christmas Carol and Die Hard, yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYou chose well :)
DeleteThere's no zombies. ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteNothing's perfect ;) Zombies might've helped this one...
DeleteJust hearing this cast list...I'd pass. If I was going to watch one it would be one of the old ones. ;)
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot to choose from, most better than this.
DeleteOh no, I want to watch Die Hard, too!! Hallmark has a tendency to be a bit too sappy and sugary for my taste, but if I find time, I'll watch it.
ReplyDeleteDie Hard! I haven't watched that one yet this year.
DeleteAnother one I've seen. A zillion Dickens take offs, and they never fail to suck me in. I guess we love to witness redemption!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I'll watch any of these adaptations, all the time complaining that there are too many adaptations lol
DeleteI think I won't watch this one! Have a great day, Valerie
