The Curse of the Cat People
The Curse of the Cat People is a 1944 fantasy film, a sequel of sorts to Cat People, and Simone Simon stars. This was Robert Wise's first credit as director.

I've seen The Cat People but not Curse of the Cat People. I like Robert Wise as he directed my favorite movie of all time, "The Day the Earth Stood Still". This Christmas scene is charming. I like how the people singing around the piano sound like a choir.
ReplyDeleteRobert Wise was a genius.
Delete...this one I missed along the way.
ReplyDeleteNever too late ;)
DeleteI sometimes wonder if you don't find Christmas in almost every film you watch (grin). I'm in awe.

ReplyDeleteWhen people say they don't like any kind of horror I sometimes think they've a limited view of what "horror" is ;)
