...a fabulous play list.
It sounded like Unto Us a Child (not Boy) is Born comes from The Messiah by Handel. However, it only played a few seconds and went to the next song. I was going to play We 3 Kings, the second song I wanted to listen to, but they wanted me to log in before I could play it. You really DO have an eclectic mix.
You get previews if you don't have an account. I access Spotify on my computer and love the ability to try new artists and make my own playlist. I use the free option, but I don't mind the commercials. It feels like radio ;)
Quite a list.
I've overdone ;)
I hope you see some things you like :)
Spotify pops up on PC non-stop. I kinda don´t trust it. Am I wrong, what is your experience?(I know, not the point, and fine playlist (I use the old Media Player Classic with files from my PC, boy, am I old!))
I had to change my settings so Spotify didn't start whenever my computer did, but yes, I trust it. I never had any luck with their phone app, but the computer app has never given me any trouble. I moved straight to it from CDs lol, so I'm old, too. I use the free version, but ads don't bother me.
Enjoy listening! Valerie
I change it some every year, but I haven't seen as much new Christmas music this year.
You have a great list -- many of those are on my happy play list, too. I love hearing this music. I didn't start till a little later this year and I think I appreciate it all the more!
It's been helping my Christmas spirit :)
I knew a guy that wrote a Christmas song, one of those twisted slightly irreverent tunes like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. He got a check late in each January for 25-50 dollars he got a quarter each time it was played in royalties. I wish I could remember the title something about Santa just getting out of prison.
Cool! I love hearing about these folks who continue to get money from songs that aren't well known. It makes me wonder, though, how anybody ever makes a living as a songwriter.
