I really like Johnny Cash when I was young. 1977 wow who would have thought back then that we would be here today looking at 2021. I like your Christmas display with your mugga. Have a great day.
Oh that is great! I will watch that later with my husband as I just spotted it is three quarters of an hour long. Yes, we will settle down with a hot drink and enjoy that. We both like Johnny Cash. He was at his best in those days.Thanks. Happy T-Day, Hugs, Lisca
Love Johnny Cash and enjoyed watching his Christmas show, thanks for sharing! Your reindeer mug is gorgeous and I love all those Christmas trees too - perfect 😁. Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
I'm a classic rock fan, and never got into Johnny Cash. LOVE that wire tree and your carousel deer mug. You have some incredibly clever small trees, dear. Thanks for sharing them and Johnny Cash, along with your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.
I was really late to the party with Johnny Cash -- really got to know about him from the movie with Reese Whitherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix. I should check out the video.
You can't go wrong with Johnny Cash. And your have a pretty setting too. I think a cup of coffee or tea and this holiday special sounds like a nice way to spend a bit of time. Hope it was a happy T day.
I used to love these Christmas specials - what a treat to see those guests again too! Thanks so much for finding this! Am I right in thinking that eventually they were called the Carter family specials? Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
I don't think so. The Johnny Cash tv series lasted from 1969-1971. In 1976 a show called "Johnny Cash and Friends" was a summer replacement series. After that there was an annual Johnny Cash Christmas show. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Johnny_Cash_Show_(TV_series)
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
...look at how young he looked back then!
