Lady in the Lake is a 1947 film noir that takes place during the Christmas holiday season. It's an adaptation of the 1943 Raymond Chandler novel. This is the directorial debut of Robert Montgomery, who also stars. You can watch it online at this link.
This sounds really good. I'm adding it to my list of holiday films to watch, even though I have been watching some of the old classics I've seen several times. Happy Friday!
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.

ReplyDeleteI like finding ones I've never seen that have some Christmas connection. The old favorites are wonderful, but it's nice to have something different.
