Here's a trailer:
Criterion says, "Holiday is an enchanting ode to nonconformists and pie-in-the-sky dreamers everywhere, as well as a thoughtful reflection on what it truly means to live well." Emmanuel Levy has a review. Time Out calls it "one of Cukor's best films." Rotten Tomatoes has a critics consensus rating of 100%.

I´m a tad late... I don´t know this film, but my Dad was born that year, must be something good about it ;-)
ReplyDeleteHe was as silly!
One of my all time favorite movies. Grant and Hepburn were a terrific team and they are both at their most fun and charming here. This is so delightful and I'm glad there is another fan! Definitely saving this link to watch again at will!
ReplyDeleteCary Grant in The Bishop's Wife is delightful, so this should be another fun one. Like your stripe mug - very festive for T Tuesday.

ReplyDeleteI don't recall the movie, but it has a great cast Kathryn Hepburn is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteOn another subject, I've been enjoying chatting with you about yoga. I miss my classmates and a live class. Nobody else "gets" my love of yoga.
Namaste and Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
I've tried floating FB posts on Yoga, and they just sit there ignored lol
