  2. Although the name doesn't ring a bell I do seem to remember a few of the scenes. I only got through the first link so maybe when I watch the rest I might have a better idea if I actually saw this.

    1. I'm always surprised when I think I haven't seen a movie and my husband says, "yes, you have, but it just wasn't memorable" lol _He_ remembers them...

  3. I remember passing on this years ago on Netflix. Not in the suicidal mood around Christmas, I guess--ROFL! ;)

    1. It's off-beat, I'll say that for it. I understand why it has a cult following.

    1. I was happy to find it. I'd never heard of it before I saw it on a list of Christmas-adjacent films.

  5. and another one to add to the debate, is it really a Christmas movie ... just like the Die Hard debate (lol).

    1. Movies that take place at Christmastime as opposed to movies about Christmas, maybe... But a lot of commonly accepted Christmas movies aren't _about_ Christmas... I'm going with the new term I found online: "Christmas adjacent" lol

  6. I don't know how I keep missing these posts, but they are not showing up on my sidebar until a couple of days later. I really want to see this film.

And because Patio Postcards brought it up, I'm on the side of Die Hard being a Christmas movie, even though it was originally released in August when it came out.

    1. I agree :) I think some people just want Christmas movies to be sweeter or include a different kind of romance.
