Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a 2011 Cold War spy thriller based on the John le Carre novel. The movie stars Gary Oldman, Kathy Burke, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth, Stephen Graham, Tom Hardy, Ciarán Hinds, John Hurt, and Toby Jones.

I don't remember seeing the movie, but I read the novel.

DeleteThis one is a favorite of mine. But you can't multitask when you watch it -- you have to be right there with it. And it's so good, you want to be!

DeleteI tried to watch this but it seemed so slow that I ended up turning it off. I heard the book was great (I never read it, but I knew what it was about), so I thought the movie would be good, but I lost interest and gave up.
ReplyDeleteNot that it's related, but if you get a chance to watch Coherence, I think you'll like it. If you can watch it without commercial interruptions, that is the best way to see it. (I think it's on Tubi TV right now, but they have commercials. I liked it so much I wanted to get the DVD, to add it to my movie collection, but it's too pricey for my budget.)
There are too many movies to stick with ones that don't appeal.
