Merry Christmas!

Join me for a cuppa coffee in front of the Christmas tree? We're having a low-key day with come-and-go family visiting on their way to and from other family. We'll be enjoying the increase in the birds we're having at the feeder now that it's cooling off a bit. We're seeing the usual sparrows, mockingbirds, cardinals, mourning doves, snowbirds, woodpeckers... but more of them and more often.

    1. Thx! We've switched from coffee to hot cider now. We have kids coming and going through the day, so we're not having a big meal but munching off and on. A very calm Christmas day here :) Merry Christmas!

    1. Someday I'll get one of those ceramic makers and use it instead of the plastic. Well, I say that, but I've been saying it for years, and this one still suits us lol. Yes, we had a lovely day with more birds than usual. I trust your day was also wonderful :)

    3. So true lol, and the brown plastic isn't nearly as hard to keep looking presentable as the white ceramic ;)

    1. The tree has ornaments from 4 generations, so it's filling up. The gingerbread ornaments are from my childhood, one of my earliest decoration purchases. Fond memories.
