Christmas Auld Lang Syne

Christmas Auld Lang Syne:

by Bobby Darin, who was only 37 when he died on this date in 1973. His life-long heart issues finally caught up with him.

The first image is of a Christmas card in a frame where one of our wedding invitations was displayed early in our married life.

Mother used to hang this next piece on her wall. When she moved to a retirement community she used this as a door decoration.

  4. He was so young! I just remember he has some silly and weird songs--splish splash, mack the knife--but the girls loved the ones like dream lover. Wasn't that Bobby Darin?
I am enjoying seeing the various wall hangings from your mom. And the framed Christmas card is cool, too. Fancy frame for a wedding--very fitting. And you have recycled it! :)

  5. I remember Bobby Darin. That's a name I haven't heard of in a long time. Those are lovely decorations, and I really like that frame which used to hold your wedding invitation. (I still have mine framed and on my bedroom wall.)
