I found this sweet little pink tree complete with ornaments for $2 at a local antique mall a few years ago. I replaced the tinsel, rearranged the balls a bit, and made the star. The angel -I've always called her Singing Angel- is decades old. I can't remember now where I got her. These are on the kitchen counter.
I read the book last year & liked & I LOVE Dame Maggie Smith, so this will be one I'm definitely looking for. The pink tree & Singing Angel are quite cute.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like the movie :)
Delete...your tree is a wonderful throwback!
ReplyDeleteI was quite taken with it :)
DeleteCharming movie. The Eldest would love the pink tree. Just her color.
ReplyDeleteIt's different from anything else I have. The Younger Son said it was something I "needed" lol
DeleteI haven't seen that film, but it looks good. I am loving that tree. If I had a big place I would have several trees, and a pink one and a white would be on the list. There's an old Victoria in my town and it has 5 big front windows, and every Christmas they put up a different tree in each window. Be still my heart. I love your little pink tree and seeing inside your place. All those books- be still my heart even more.
ReplyDeleteAh, those are DVDs lol The books are t the other end...
DeleteI will definitely watch this one and it sounds like one the grandboys might enjoy. Cute tree! Love the enthusiasm of your singing angel! :)
ReplyDeleteHer heart is really in it!
DeleteThat pink tree is so pretty! What an amazing find. I think I saw that movie before when I had Netflix. Or maybe I'm thinking of A Dog Named Christmas, which might have been a Hallmark movie. I've got to renew Netflix.
ReplyDeleteI've given up trying to let Netflix go lol There's always something else there I want to see.
DeleteI think you could publish a list of new and old Christmas movies!
ReplyDeleteNice tree find!
The tree is such a treat. It tickles my fancy :)
