    I remember watching these. My Mom loved Bing, and it was the one show she would stop everything when it came on. :) Happy weekend Nita.

    My mom was a huge fan of all the singer's variety shows--especially the Christmas shows. Back then you had one TV with five channels, so whatever the folks wanted to watch was what you saw in the evenings. This was still true the year I graduated (1968) so I watched this with my family. :)

      Yes, we had 4 channels, and variety shows were popular back then. The Christmas specials were a highlight :)
