The Snow Woman is a 1968 Japanese horror film directed by TokuzĂ´ Tanaka. I enjoy the eerie nature of these sad ghost stories where there's no gore and nothing to make you jump. And that cold, snowy landscape is dramatic.

No gratuitous gore is my kind of horror movie
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to ghost stories :)
DeleteI really can't keep up with you but that's okay this month because I'm not into the horror, spooky genre, anyways. Regardless, I'm always curious to see what you've been watching. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are some of the horror movies I like and some types I don't. It's a big genre.
DeleteHMMM. Not sure this one is for me.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you get your computer fixed soon, though. I feel for you. I will give you a squirrel if that would help!
We have a resident squirrel ;) but thanks lol. I have a new computer. My younger son was somehow able to salvage my photos, which is a sweet thing :) Getting this thing set up was a huge pain, though. I may go with a chrome book next time.
DeleteI need to check this out as this sounds like my kind of October spooky film. I've picked up a paperback copy o Stephen King's the Stand, which I heard is good but I shall see if it works. I'm not sure if it is gorey or not. But maybe you know? Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI've read the original version of The Stand, but I don't think I've read the massive complete version. I've seen the 90s mini-series twice. I liked both book and show, and I don't remember either being gory. It's been years, though...
