I've never heard of it, but I HAVE heard of Rudyard Kipling. Wish I'd paid more attention to literature in school.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those oldie classics. The first time I saw it was after school on television. I hadn't realized it was based on Kipling.

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to re-watch movies that are listed in that 1,001 Movies book, and this one was re-watchable. Some of the others, not so watchable the first time lol, and I don't know how they got picked.
DeleteI have seen this film many years ago. I should watch it again though. It's good to see it again to refresh all the details that fade over time. Did you end up getting any of that rain? It looks terrible in places like Pennsylvania and Maryland. Wow, you are right. The weather this summer has been crazy. And not normal. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteWe don't have this one on DVD, but we've ended up buying a lot of stuff just to have it. Watching online can be iffy.

DeleteI've never heard of this movie but if it's on a list that I should see & you recommend, I'll see if the library has. I recently discovered a 2nd handbook shop that has old tapes & DVDs ... I cannot watch movies on the computer, there's just something that gives me a head/eye ache.
