Unlucky 42


42 is considered an unlucky number in Japan because the pronunciation "shini" is similar to their pronunciation of "death".

    Huh! I didn't know that. Maybe that's why I never saw a 42 on an elevator in Japan, they skip that number. You learn something new all the time-which is a really good thing! happy Saturday.

      I've heard that the artist who did the 42s has moved away. I'm in mourning :( hoping it isn't true.
