Coffee at the Park
We've had lovely weather lately, with sunshine and highs in the 80s F, so The Husband and I took a few moments to have coffee in the park.
Audubon Park is a large park with several different areas. This time we went to the lake. A bench in the shade, a bit of a breeze, The Husband with me, and coffee. Joy.
I'm glad to have a park this pleasant so close to me.

So nice to have lovely green space close by. Even better to have someone to share it with.
ReplyDeleteYes, sweet :) I love that there are different areas within the park :)
DeleteGoodness, this is a beautiful area and looks both peaceful and isolated. It appeared you were the only people there.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually on a pretty busy street close to a major thoroughfare, but it's just enough back from the road to feel separate :) There were other people there, but not many. It's not usually crowded, but there are always a few other people around.
DeleteJoy to you and me...

Joy! :)
DeleteThis sounds like a wonderful visit to the park. I think time out with a spouse is a good thing, and to enjoy such a pretty view at the same time-that sounds super! Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI love a wooded park, and the lake is so peaceful feeling :) Having the husband with me is a great bonus ;)
DeleteA delightful spot & I would join you with my mug of tea. There's something so peaceful about water, it has that automatic calm about it. Peaceful places abound if we only look. I like white geese & white ducks, on my dream farm I will have a flock.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy the lake. I think living in the woods on a lake would be so peaceful, and since I'm in the city this may be as close as I ever get lol
DeleteLovely! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is a lovely place. I'm glad the city is maintaining it so well :)
DeleteWhat a lovely way to spend some time! It's so nice that the park is close by and you can sit and enjoy your coffee looking at those beautiful views - perfect 😁. Have a happy new week! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteHaving it this close is a great part of living where I do. There are a lot of other parks around, but when it takes over 20 minutes to drive to them I find I rarely go.
