Maciel's Tortas & Tacos

People-watching on Main Street in downtown Memphis, Maciel's Tortas & Tacos is the perfect place! Here's the menu. The Daughter and I thought the food was great and the prices reasonable. There was a line when we got there, but it moved quickly. It seems to get a lot of take-out business from locals. We sat outside:

This was back in June, I think, but even when it's hot outside there's shade downtown to make it pleasant.

I'm linking with the bloggers who join the T Stands for Tuesday gathering. Share a drink with us!

  7. That looks like great food in a very pretty setting - a lovely tree-lined street.

  8. What a perfectly lovely place in a beautiful setting. Again, your prices are a tad higher than in Wichita, but Memphis is far bigger and more tourist friendly than here. After all, who doesn't want to visit Memphis, but who would ever think to visit Wichita. I'm so glad you and your daughter enjoyed the day out together. Seems now that she's married, you see less of her. Thanks for taking us with you to Maciel's for T this Tuesday. Looks like the perfect place to eat and people watch at the same time.

    1. It's true, I don't see her as much as I did before she married. But then again, I don't write it up unless it's a place we've never been. Many restaurants still left, though ;)
