The Virginian is a 1929 pre-code Western starring Gary Cooper and Walter Huston. I enjoyed seeing Eugene Pallette. Randolph Scott has an uncredited role.
Wow, if it's from 1929 this must have been one of the first movies with sound! Just because of that fact alone I bet it's interesting to watch but it's even better with it being a western - as your know I love a good western 😁. Wishing you a Happy T Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
I wasn't aware there was a movie called the Virginian from 1929. Gary Cooper must have been quite young. I do remember the TV called that, Hope it was a happy T day.
I have been unable to get on the internet for over half a day. I was sick with despair. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. It wasn't my computer. My internet showed it was on. However, any blog I tried to visit, I got an error. I just kept checking every half hour or so and I finally got your blog to load.
Although I'm not a huge western fan, this sounds good. You always find the best and most unique ways to share T on Tuesday, dear friend.
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
I'm sure they're not drinking tea! Happy T Day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was a movie only the television show starring James Drury
