They're much better without a laugh track, I agree. I'd have to try it and see. Some British humor I love. But "Don't Forget the Driver" -even though I love Toby Jones- left me cold. I didn't finish it. I _love_ "Upstart Crow"!
Because this blog does not consist of a single focus topic I chose the name Divers and Sundry where "Divers" means being of many and various kinds, and "Sundry" means consisting of a haphazard assortment of different kinds.
Good 42 find - & yes this show is funny, dry British funny, they certainly had some answers to life's questions. Happy Weekend.

DeleteThis is something I doubt if I would watch.

Delete...and it's not one that I've watched either.
ReplyDeleteThere's so much out there!
DeleteLife. The Universe. Everything.
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteThis looks good. Sanjeev Bhaskar, who is in the center in the DVD cover, is one of my faves -- he was so good in "The Unforgotten."
ReplyDeleteI'll try it if I come across it. It sounds like something we might like.
DeleteI saw some episodes, but it was'nt my thing. Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou never know until you try it.
DeleteYou are an expert at finding 42!
ReplyDeleteLess so now that the guy who painted them has moved to another city :(
DeleteIf this is a comedy with a laugh track, count me out. However, I love dry British wit.
