An American Christmas Carol is a 1979 adaptation of the Dickens story. This one stars Henry Winkler as the Scrooge character. I watched it online on TubiTV.

    Saw this when it caME OUT. Not A FAVORITE version but I do love Henry Winkler and he did a fine job with it. :)

      It's not a favorite with me, either. There are so many adaptations I doubt I'll watch this one again.

      Didn't mean to shout--LOL! I keep hitting the capitalization key by accident. Didn't mean to seem like I disliked it because I do like Henry Winkler and it was an okay adaptation...like you said, not one I would watch again.
