God of War is a 2017 film based on general Qi Jiguang's suppression of the Japanese wokou pirates during the Ming dynasty. I enjoyed this one. The Younger Son had the DVD, so that's how I saw it. I don't see it free online.

Himself would really like this.
ReplyDeleteI hope it turns up on one of the Netflix or Amazon services.
Delete...I hope that God has nothing to do with war!
ReplyDeleteEverybody claims God is promoting their own cause in a war.
DeleteOh I really like this kind of movie. The majesty of it all. I just have a difficult time reading a movie. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteThe big epics!
DeleteI'm not sure this is for me! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI don't always like the historical epics, but I liked this one.
DeleteMy hubby would probably like this one. If I ever see it on Netflix I will have to suggest it.
ReplyDeleteI still don't see it out there, and I don't know why it's not.
DeleteQuite brutal, but interesting to hear the language.
ReplyDeleteYes, life was hard, and war was brutal.
DeleteWow, the details like costumes and settings look amazing! Glad you enjoyed this one 😁. Happy Friday and weekend! Hugs, Jo x
