The Lost Boys is a 1987 supernatural black comedy horror film about two teenage brothers who move with their divorced mother to the fictional town of Santa Carla, California, only to discover that the town is a haven for vampires. The title is a reference to the Lost Boys in J. M. Barrie's stories about Peter Pan, who, like vampires, never grew up. It's a very 80s movie. I watched this when it was on a streaming service we subscribe to, but I don't see it now.

...lots of lost boys out there.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad :)
DeleteI'm going to try to get my comment to publish today. I remember seeing The Lost Boys back in the 80s. VERY 80s. I actually liked it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any of the 80s movies during the 80s. I'm just now coming across them.
DeleteI knew this title sounded familiar. I'm glad you described it because I did see this film, but I didn't actually connect the title to the storyline. Have a great Thursday Nita.
ReplyDeleteSo many titles tell me nothing about what to expect.
DeleteThis sounds good! Hugs!
