Made in Italy (Netflix) is a 2020 comedy-drama film starring Liam Neeson as an artist who must restore an Italian villa with his estranged son. This is not my kind of movie at all, and I have no idea why I watched it. I loved it. I firmly believe that "I don't like [fill in the blank] movies" is a lazy attitude that deprives us of many a pleasure. I try to broaden my horizons. I'm glad I watched this.

...you have no idea why you watched it? You seem to want to watch everything!
ReplyDeleteNot everything, since there are way too many for that. I pass on more than I watch.
DeleteI really enjoyed this, too! And it was fascinating to me that his real life son played his movie son--lol! It was such a joy to see Liam Neeson in a different type of role. I will watch anything he is in, but I like when he switches it up. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I hadn't realized his son was an actor.
DeleteThen I'll give this a try
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it!
DeleteI watched this. I liked it. It was a little bit predictable though. Hope it was a great Saturday.
ReplyDeleteYes, these movies do tend to be predictable. I liked it anyway lol
DeleteWhile it might be more my kind of movie than yours, I sort of watched this by accident. Liam Neeson and Italy -- what's not to love? I thought it might be too fluffy but I found it heartwarming and a wonderful parent/child dynamic that I would recommend to others as well.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like your take on it. I'm glad I watched it :)
DeleteWhen I see it's on Netflix, I give up. I will never get Netflix.
ReplyDeleteDifferent strokes. We watch a lot on Netflix.
