Swan Song (Hulu) is a 2021 film about a retired hairdresser, once renowned as the "Liberace of Sandusky" for his gay bar act, who leaves his nursing home and walks to the town funeral home to style a former client's hair for her funeral. Well reviewed, I got such a kick out of it. I cared about this man and his life. Definitely re-watchable.

I was really drawn in.
DeleteYou have so many of those pay channels I don't have. I bet this was a great film.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my ICAD. Of all the cards I have created, this has been my favorite, too. I thought the background paper was perfect when I found it in my stash.
We have Amazon Prime and BritBox and Paramount+ and Netflix and a bundle of Disney+/ESPN/Hulu. It's still less than cable was lol
DeleteThis does look interesting. And like films that are about something different-like this one sounds. Hope it was a lovely Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteI love exposure to different cultures and ways of life.
