Eraserhead

Eraserhead is a 1977 experimental film directed by David Lynch, his first feature-length film. I watched it on HBO Max. It's listed in the book 1,0001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. Shocking when it was released, it's still no soothing walk in the park. I'm determined, though, to broaden my film horizons using lists and online recommendations.

trailer:

I'm having a soothing cup of hot chocolate while I watch it. I have a set of mugs like these:

Please join me in a beverage of your choice even if you aren't interested in the film. There'll be something more appealing over at the T Stands for Tuesday blogger gathering.

  3. Definitely a classic. Not a fave for me, but interesting, considering it's Lynch's first.

  11. I saw this movie on VHS. It was strange to say the least. I love those mugs and it's nice to see you actually drank hot chocolate out of one. Thanks for sharing this film and your hot chocolate in a hot chocolate mug with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

  18. I've seen Eraserhead, it's weird but then I think all David Lynch movies are weird lol. I remember watching Blue Velvet and then out of curiosity, tracking down some of his others, including this one, to see what they were like - all weird lol. Happy T Day Elle/EOTC xx
