The Shootist

The Shootist is 1976 Western film starring a great cast: Lauren Bacall, Ron Howard, James Stewart, Richard Boone, John Carradine, Scatman Crothers, Richard Lenz, Harry Morgan, Sheree North, and Hugh O'Brian. It was John Wayne's final film and is a wonderful performance if you have any doubt that the man could act.

    1. I remember when it came out. Wayne's last film, unusual ending for a John Wayne film, critical acclaim... It's got a lot going for it.

    1. He's not my favorite actor, and there are some of his films I like better, but I understand why this one could be somebody's favorite. It's a great movie!

  6. Not a Wayne fan but I believe I watched this due to being a devout Jimmy Stewart fan--LOL! Plus several of the other actors were good ones. :)

  7. Reminds me of Buds Bencer / Terence Hill. Never liked those movies. But Ingo showed me an interview with the latter - cute guy (interview is in German, otherwise I would share. Yes, he really speaks pretty good German!).
